Team members displayed exceptional efficiency today as they quickly apprehended a suspect involved in a bin theft in the Durban North Area.
At approximately 09H00, the Marshall Security’s Emergency Dispatch Centre received reports from a concerned client on Norrie Avenue, reporting that their bin had been stolen.
An accurate description of the bin was circulated to all our Armed Response Officers and Special Operations Team members. And a short while later the suspect was spotted on the M4 pushing the wheelie bin and was immediately apprehended by our team members..
Without delay, the suspect was handed over to Durban North SAPS, and was transported to Durban North SAPS for further investigation and processing.
We assure the community that the suspect has been arrested and homeowners have opened a case of theft at the Durban North SAPS.
