In a swift and coordinated effort, members of our Special Operations Team, in collaboration with Matrix Tracking and the Greenwood Park SAPS Trio Crimes Unit, successfully recovered two stolen motorbikes earlier today in the Briardene informal settlement in the Umgeni Park area.
At approximately 10h00 this morning, our Special Ops Team was activated to assist Matrix Tracking in locating a Big Boy motorbike that had been stolen during the course of the evening from Krishna Road.
Within a matter of minutes, and after a brief track, the first stolen motorbike was located abandoned on Daffodil Place. Further investigation revealed an additional stolen Big Boy motorbike nearby, also taken during the course of the evening whilst members were searching the area.
Both recovered motorbikes have been transported to the Greenwood Park SAPS for comprehensive investigations and processing.
We commend the dedication and professionalism demonstrated by all involved parties in ensuring the successful recovery of these stolen motorbikes. The commitment to maintaining the safety and security of our community remains a top priority, and this operation serves as a testament to the effectiveness of joint efforts in combating crime.
