Over the course of four days our teams responded to two vehicle hijackings and one stolen vehicle during a housebreaking, and managed to recover all three vehicles.
On Thursday at approximately 17h00 members of our Special Operations Team were activated to assist Tracker SA with a hijacked Toyota Hilux that had been hijacked in the Kwadabeka area by an unknown amount of armed suspects.
After about an hour’s search, our teams managed to track the hijacked vehicle to where it was recovered and found abandoned in Kwamashu A-Section by members of our Special Ops Team, Tracker SA ground team and the SAPS.
On Sunday morning at approximately 10h00 Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre received a panic activation from a client on Hilken Drive, Umhlanga. Multiple Armed Response Officers were dispatched to scene. Upon further investigation it was established that unknown amount of suspects forced open the balcony window of the tenants flat, during the course of the evening. Various household items including the tenants blue Mercedes Benz, a flat screen TV, gas gun and tools from the spare room had been stolen. Durban North SAPS arrived on scene and opened a case of house breaking.

Later Sunday evening at approximately 22h00 following up on information investigations lead our Special Ops Team to the Kwadabeka area where the stolen blue Mercedes Benz partially stripped, was recovered and found abandoned on Nkululeko Road in Kwadabeka L-Section.
On Sunday at approximately 15h40 members of our Special Operations Team were yet again activated to assist Tracker SA with another hijacked vehicle. This time a Renault Triber which was hijacked on Dumisani Makhaya Road by an unknown amount of armed suspects.

After an 11 minute track from being activated, the hijacked vehicle was found abandoned yet again in Kwamashu A-Section where it was recovered with the keys still in the ignition by members of our Special Operations Team and the SAPS Provincial Trio Task Team.
All recovered vehicles were handed over to the SAPS for further investigation and processing.
