Shortly after 18:00 on Monday 20 July, Marshall Security Response Officers spotted a vehicle that had been circulated as being involved in a theft of motor vehicle, in the Pinetown area earlier this month.
Our officers spotted the vehicle with 3 occupants traveling along North Beach Road, Umdloti and they immediately called the Durban North SAPS for backup and stopped the vehicle.
The vehicle and occupants were searched and were found in possession of vehicle breaking implements.
The vehicle they were traveling in appeared to have had its vin number and body work tampered with.
The vehicle and suspects were transported to the Durban North SAPS to be detained.
