INCIDENT: HOUSE ROBBERY

Shortly after 13:00 on Friday, Marshall Security responded to a report of a house robbery which had occurred in Lynn Avenue, Glenashley.
Reports from the scene indicate that six men, armed with handguns, derailed a driveway gate before smashing through a front door and forcing entry to the home.
The domestic worker who was at the premises at the time was confined to a room whilst the men ransacked the house, making off with cellphones, a flatscreen television, and the CCTV recording system, fleeing in an awaiting getaway vehicle.
The domestic worker did not suffer any injuries and was assessed on scene by Crisis Medical paramedics, she declined any further treatment.
The scene was secured and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing. The suspects remain at large.
