INCIDENT: THEFT / SUSPECTS ARRESTED

This morning working on information recieved, Marshall Security arrested a man believed to be linked to several cases of theft across the greater Durban area.
The suspect operates on a particular modus operandi which sees him responding to online classified advertisements for cellphones and electronic devices.
The man leads the would be seller into believing that he is interested in purchasing the item they have on offer and suggests they meet him at a location in Durban.
On meeting the suspect, the victim is robbed of their belongings.
With the assistance of the South African Police Service’s Durban North Field-Unit, a sting operation was setup resulting in the arrest of the suspect in question.
