Yesterday morning, at approximately 06h57, a vigilant member of the public contacted the Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre, reporting two suspicious males carrying copper cables heading towards Kenneth Kaunda Road from Cambridge Drive. The client provided a detailed description of the individuals.
Marshall Security Armed Response Officers were immediately dispatched to investigate. Upon arrival, officers apprehended one suspect matching the description, while the other unfortunately evaded arrest by fleeing into a nearby dense bush. Copper cables were found in the possession of the suspect, who failed to provide a clear explanation regarding the source of the cables.

Greenwood Park SAPS was promptly contacted and arrived shortly thereafter. The suspect was taken into custody for further investigation and charged with being in possession of suspected stolen items.
