This morning, at approximately 05h13, Marshall Security GWA Tactical Officers discovered a deceased male at the corner of Gillitts and Henry Pennington Road in the Westmead area.
Upon arrival, GWA Officers confirmed that the individual was unresponsive, prompting immediate notification of Pinetown SAPS, Metro Police, and private ambulance services. Paramedics arrived and assessed the scene, determining that the male had suffered a fatal stab wound to the head and had already passed away before their arrival.
Pinetown SAPS has since opened a case of murder and is currently leading investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
