INCIDENT: HOUSE ROBBERY

At approximately 13:25 Marshall Security responded to a house robbery which had occurred in St Andrews Drive, Durban North.
Reports from the scene indicate that an unknown number of suspects armed with firearms, derailed the driveway gate before forcing entry to the home.
The homeowners who were present at the time, were confined to a bedroom whilst the armed men ransacked the home, making off with flat screen televisions, cellphones and various other undisclosed items, before fleeing in an awaiting getaway vehicle.
When Marshall Security arrived on the scene the victims were found to still be locked in the room and although they did not suffer any physical injuries in the ordeal, they were left severely traumatised.
The scene was secured and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
