At 05h00 this morning, members of Marshall Special Operations Team were patrolling the Morningside area and spotted a suspect on Lambert Road carrying a gate motor.
After a brief foot chase, the suspect was arrested. Upon further investigation it was found that the gate motor was stolen from a non client’s premises on Windermere Road.
The suspect had been previously arrested by Marshall Security in the Greenwood Park area for the same offence.
The suspect was handed over to Berea SAPS for further investigation and processing.
