Stolen heavy construction machinery valued at three quarters of a million Rand was successfully recovered during a joint operation earlier today.
At approximately 11h00, Marshall Security Special Operations Team members received a request for assistance from Axis Fleet Tracking to track and recover heavy construction machinery that had been stolen during a business robbery on Kyalami Road in Westmead.
Our Special Operations Team immediately responded to the location provided by Axis Tracking. Upon their arrival, members found the stolen construction machinery, along with additional suspected stolen machinery, on an abandoned property. The total value of the recovered goods is approximately R750,000. The stolen property was seized and transported to SAPS Pinetown for further investigation and processing.
Special thanks to Pinetown Crime Prevention, Pinetown Trio Task Team, Phoenix Trio Task Team, SSS Tracking, and Axis Fleet Tracking for their collaboration and support in this successful recovery operation.
This operation highlights the vital importance of community partnerships in the fight against crime. The collaboration between Marshall Security, the Greater Westmead Association, and other involved teams played a key role in ensuring a safer environment for everyone involved.
