While on a routine patrol at approximately 15h00 today, one of our Armed Reaction Officers saw a suspect fleeing from a client’s home carrying scrap metal, in Anthony Road, Umgeni Park. Our officer arrested the suspect and upon further investigation, it was established that the suspect had stolen scrap metal from the client’s property.
The suspect was handed over to Greenwood Park SAPS for further investigation and processing.
