Incident 1
Yesterday afternoon, at approximately 14h16, while on routine patrol on Rinaldo Road, Marshall Security Armed Response Officers noticed two suspicious males carrying a gas cylinder—one that closely resembled a cylinder that had recently been seen at a client’s property.
Acting immediately, our Officers stopped and apprehended the suspects for investigations. One of our Officers then proceeded to a clients property on Sagewood Way to investigate.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that the gas cylinder had been forcibly disconnected. Shortly after, the client was informed who was unaware of the theft and positively identified the cylinder as her stolen property.
Greenwood Park SAPS was contacted. SAPS officers arrived at the scene shortly after, taking the suspects into custody for further processing and will be facing charges of theft.

Incident 2
Early this morning, at approximately 00:52, Marshall Security’s Emergency Dispatch Centre received an urgent alert from a client on Heather Grove (Greenwood Park) via a WhatsApp Crime Alert group. The client reported that a trespasser had jumped into a neighbouring property and stolen a Weber braai stand.
Marshall Security Armed Response Officers were immediately dispatched to investigate.
Upon arrival, the officers spoke with the homeowner, who confirmed that the intruder had climbed into the yard and taken the braai stand. Determined to locate the theft suspect, the officers began patrolling the surrounding area. During their search, they spotted an individual walking along North Coast Road carrying the stolen item and swiftly apprehended him.
The homeowner arrived on scene soon thereafter, and Greenwood Park SAPS was contacted. The suspect was then transported to the station, where a case will be opened for further investigation and processing.
