This afternoon, at approximately 14h20, Marshall Security’s Emergency Dispatch Centre received a report of a white Hyundai H100 that had been stolen from Pommern Lane in the Avoca area.
The details of the stolen vehicle were immediately circulated to all Armed Response Officers and members of our Special Operations Team. Upon arriving at the scene, our Armed Response Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle, who confirmed that the Hyundai was fitted with a tracking device from Tracker SA.
Shortly after, members of our Special Operations Team were activated by Tracker SA to assist in locating the stolen vehicle. Without hesitation, our team joined forces with Tracker SA, KwaMashu SAPS Trio Crimes Unit, and Phoenix SAPS Trio Crimes Unit to track down the vehicle.
Thanks to the collaborative efforts, the stolen Hyundai H100 was swiftly recovered and found abandoned in G-Section, KwaMashu. The vehicle was then transported to KwaMashu SAPS for further investigation and processing.
This successful recovery underscores the importance of rapid response and collaboration between Marshall Security, Tracker SA, KwaMashu SAPS Trio Crimes Unit, and Phoenix SAPS Trio Crimes Unit to combat crime and ensure public safety.
