Last week our Marshall Security teams responded to four separate hijacking incidents and managed to recover all four vehicles successfully.
On Thursday at approximately 16h00 The Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre was alerted to a incident in the Windermere area on Adrain Road where a white Nissan Qashqai was hijacked by an unknown amount of armed suspects.

Multiple Armed Response Officers were dispatched to scene to assist and details of the hijacked vehicle was circulated to all members to be on the look out.
A few minutes later members of our Special Operations Team were activated to assist Cartrack ground team and within 8 minutes of being activated the hijacked vehicle was found abandoned and recovered on Durrant Place in the Morningside area.
That same evening at approximately 17h50 members of our Special Operations Team together with the SAPS Phoenix Trio Crimes Unit working on information received managed to recover a white Toyota Hilux which had been hijacked approximately 50 minutes earlier in Kwamashu P-Section.

Our members immediately responded and located the vehicle to Kwamashu A-Section, where it was found abandoned and severally stripped.
A short while later, at approximately 20h00 on the same evening, members of our Special Ops Team were activated to assist Cartrack with a VW Polo which had been hijacked in the Berea area.

Our members immediately responded to the last known location of the hijacked Polo and recovered the vehicle within 25 minutes, together with the assistance of the Cartrack ground team and the SAPS Vehicle and Trio Crimes Unit. The vehicle was found abandoned on a sports field in the Ntuzuma E Section.
In the fourth vehicle recovery on Friday at around midnight, members of our Special Ops team were activated to assist Tracker SA with yet another hijacked vehicle, this time a white Toyota Etios. The vehicle had been hijacked in the Sea Cow Lake area, on Gum Tree Road, by an unknown amount of armed suspects.

After an extensive track the vehicle was finally recovered nearly 11 hours later, where it was found abandoned in an informal settlement off Shellbrook Road in the Brookdale, Phoenix area by members of our Special Ops Team, Tracker SA ground team and the SAPS Phoenix Trio Crimes Unit.
All four recovered vehicles were handed over to the SAPS for further investigation and processing.
