[Watch] Dedicated Members Crawl After Housebreaker Hiding In Cellar

This morning our team members successfully arrested a repeat offending housebreaker that was hiding under the house with the stolen goods in his possession.

At approximately 07h50 the Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre received a call from a client on Kenneth Kauda Road in the Durban North area and reported that their gardener noticed a suspect breaking into their house.

Multiple Armed Response Officers and members of our Special Operations Team were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene within minutes.

When our team members arrived on scene the suspect was found hiding in the cellar under the house with the stolen items in his possession. Our dedicated team members crawled under the house where the suspect was cornered and forced back out, after which he was immediately apprehended. It was later established that the suspect had forced open a kitchen window to get into the house.

The Durban North SAPS were contacted and arrived on scene a short while later. The suspect was then transported to the Durban North SAPS where he will be charged for housebreaking and theft.

The suspect was arrested by our team members for theft at the same property in November last year.

Well done to our team members on yet another successful arrest.
