In February, 162 incidents were reported to our Emergency Dispatch Centre. This is a 25% decrease compared to the rate we recorded in January 2025. The top types of incidents throughout the month were house breaking, theft from/on site, and trespassing.

Marshall Security responded to a trespassing incident in Somerset Park, quickly apprehending a suspect with stolen extension cords. The homeowner pressed charges, and the suspect was handed over to Durban North SAPS, highlighting the importance of vigilance and swift action against crime.

While patrolling Adelaide Tambo Drive, a Marshall Security officer spotted a suspect stealing copper pipes from the local post office. The suspect was apprehended, and Durban North SAPS took them into custody. This highlights the importance of vigilant patrols in preventing crime.
Late-Night Chase: Cable Theft Suspects Apprehended
Marshall Security responded to a cable theft in Sea Cow Lake, apprehending two suspects as they attempted to flee. A ladder and pliers were recovered, and the suspects were handed over to Greenwood Park SAPS, highlighting our commitment to protecting infrastructure and combating crime.
