In July, 176 incidents were reported to our Emergency Dispatch Centre. This is a 12% decrease compared to the rate we recorded in June. The top types of incidents throughout the month were trespassing, housebreaking and theft of copper.

Throughout the month of July we arrested 11 suspects and recovered 6 stolen or hijacked vehicles. 💪

Hijacked VW T-Cross Found in Umhlanga

Our Special Operations Team, alongside Netstar and the Durban North Crime Prevention Unit, swiftly recovered a hijacked VW T-Cross in the Umhlanga area. The vehicle was handed over to Durban North SAPS for further investigation, demonstrating effective collaboration and rapid response.

Marshall Security Recovers Stolen Vehicles in La Lucia and Park Hill

Marshall Security recovered a stolen VW Polo in La Lucia, apprehending the fraudster, and later located a stolen Nissan Almera in Park Hill, handing both over to SAPS. These actions demonstrate our commitment to swift vehicle recovery and justice.

Marshall Security Nabs Copper Theft in Glen Ashley

Marshall Security officers swiftly responded to a client’s alert in Glen Ashley, locating and apprehending a suspect who had stolen copper pipes. The stolen items were recovered, and the suspect was handed over to Durban North SAPS for further investigation.
