In November, 226 incidents were reported to our Emergency Dispatch Centre. This is a 19% increase compared to the rate we recorded in October. The top types of incidents throughout the month were theft, trespassing and theft of copper.

In November alone, Marshall Security demonstrated unwavering dedication to community safety by successfully arresting 27 suspects involved in a range of serious crimes, including armed robberies, house breaking, theft, trespassing, and motor vehicle theft. In addition to these arrests, our skilled teams recovered 9 stolen or hijacked vehicles. 💪
Stolen Volkswagen Polo in Morningside Recovered in Avoca Hills
Marshall Security’s Special Operations Team, in collaboration with Cartrack and Greenwood Park SAPS, swiftly recovered a stolen Volkswagen Polo in Avoca Hills. The vehicle was found abandoned and transported for further investigation, highlighting the importance of teamwork and rapid response in combating vehicle theft.
Marshall Security Officer Fatally Wounded in Business Robbery Incident
Marshall Security Armed Response Officer Sivuyile Madikizela was tragically killed during a business robbery on Chris Hani Road. Recently joining our team, he was fatally shot after unknowingly entering the store. We extend our condolences to his family and fully support the SAPS investigation to ensure justice.
