In October, 190 incidents were reported to our Emergency Dispatch Centre. This is a 12% decrease compared to the rate we recorded in September. The top types of incidents throughout the month were house breaking and theft, trespassing and theft of copper.

Throughout the month of October we arrested 11 suspects and recovered 5 stolen or hijacked vehicles. 💪
Glen Hills Burglary Conviction: Serial Trespasser Sentenced to 6 Years.
Marshall Security apprehended a trespassing suspect in Glen Hills, who was later convicted and sentenced to 30 days for trespassing and 6 years for a linked housebreaking. This highlights the importance of reporting crimes and reinforces Marshall Security’s commitment to community safety.
Effingham Tragedy: Two Dead, One Injured in Stabbing Incident
Marshall Security responded to a possible murder on Sim Place, Effingham, stabilising an injured elderly woman taken to the hospital. Tragically, another elderly woman and a teenage male were found deceased. Greenwood Park SAPS is investigating, and Marshall Security extends condolences to the family.
Missing African Grey Parrot Safely found by Marshall Security Officer
While patrolling Soofie Saheb Road, a Marshall Security officer noticed a driver trying to catch a bird. Recognising it as a missing African Grey parrot named Halo, the officer safely reunited it with its relieved owner, highlighting Marshall Security’s commitment to the community.
