This morning, at approximately 07h44, the Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre received a report of an intruder at a client’s property on Holmpark Place, Durban North. Our team was provided with an accurate description of the suspect’s clothing and the direction he fled.
Multiple Armed Response Officers were immediately dispatched to the area, and upon arrival, our team spotted and quickly apprehended the suspect matching the given description.
The complainant was contacted and expressed a desire to open a case against the intruder. Our records show that this suspect was previously arrested by our team in September of last year for possession of suspected stolen items.
Durban North SAPS arrived shortly after and took the suspect into custody for further investigation and processing.
Well done to our team for promptly apprehending the suspect and ensuring safety in the community.
