In July, 171 incidents were reported to our Emergency Dispatch Centre. This is a 24% increase compared to the rate we recorded in June 2025. The top types of incidents throughout the month were trespassing, house breaking and copper theft.

Stolen Rim And Tyres Recovered After Quick Patrol Intervention
Our Special Operations Team spotted something suspicious on Chris Hani Road, and their instincts were right. A man carrying two black rims and tyres couldn’t explain where he got them. Turns out, they were stolen. The suspect was apprehended, and the rightful owner got their property back.
