In June, 150 incidents were reported to our Emergency Dispatch Centre. This is a 5% decrease compared to the rate we recorded in May 2026. The top types of incidents throughout the month were Theft, Trespassing, and House Breaking and Theft.

Throughout June, we arrested 28 suspects, recovered 9 stolen vehicles, and recovered 17 stolen items. 💪


From Intelligence to Arrest: Wanted ATM Fraud Suspect Arrested in Durban North

Proactive patrols led to the interception of a suspect wanted in connection with an ATM fraud investigation. The suspect is alleged to have distracted victims at ATMs before stealing or swapping their bank cards and using them to carry out fraudulent transactions.

Two Security Officers Fatally Shot in Westmead Incident

Marshall Security responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle on Kyalami Road, where two security officers from another private security company were found fatally wounded at a construction site. The scene was secured, SAPS and emergency services were notified, and two firearms were recovered.

Marshall Security, Tracker SA and SAPS Team Up to Recover Stolen VW Polo and Arrest Suspects

A coordinated operation involving Marshall Security’s Special Operations Team, Tracker SA, SAPS Provincial Task Team, and SAPS KwaMashu Trio Crimes led to the recovery of a stolen VW Polo in KwaMashu.

Members found suspects actively stripping the vehicle, resulting in two arrests. A signal jammer and vehicle-breaking implements were also recovered on scene.
